Introduction to self-generating DeFi tokens
There is a new development in town. Some may call it a hype or a meme, altcoin or impact token.
Most of these tokens share an interesting concept: reflection. It means that every transaction with one of these reflection tokens is ‘taxed’. In this article we will explain what is so cool about them.
First, we will explain what reflections tokens are, secondly how to buy them and what to look out for.
Finally, we will list several of the best reflective tokens in 2021, and will also include general meme coins and crypto lottery projects.
Reflexive tokens or reflection tokens (also called tax tokens) distribute a percentage of every transaction back to its holders. The mechanism encourages token holders to hold on to their tokens in order to earn taxes from the transactions on the market.
Therefore, you get more tokens automatically and thus gain a profit from holding the crypto longer.
What are reflection tokens?
It means that such tokens inhibit a reflexive relation.
In short, it means that the token ‘points’ to itself: a percentage of every transaction is used to fuel a liquidity pool and a part of that same transaction is used to distribute back to the holders.
Most of these token contracts employ a static reward system. The tokens are launched with the idea of creating a community token with a self generating income mechanism for its owner.
The static rewards system is a concept that was pioneered by reflect.finance.
Often such coins also implement other hyperdeflationary tokenomics like automatic coin burns and buybacks.
How to buy reflection tokens, meme coins and other altcoins?
First you need to create a wallet using a web wallet provider. After that you add the token you want to buy in the wallet. Click here how to add a custom token to MetaMask and TrustWallet.
After that you use the decentralized exchange Pancakeswap for Binance Chain-projects (BSC) or decentralized exchange Uniswap for Ethereum-projects (ETH) to buy your favourite DeFi projects or meme tokens.
Make sure to have the native coin (BNB for Binance, ETH for Ethereum) in your wallet. You need this to buy the actual token and for transaction fees.
Finally, on the exchange or decentralized exchange, select the token you want to buy. Paste the address of the token’s contract in case the token is not in the dropdown menu yet.

How to buy a coin on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
Step 1: Download Trust Wallet or use an existing wallet
Create a wallet if needed. Keep your seedphrase a secret! Never share it with anyone and store it properly.
Step 2: Add Bonfire to the Wallet
At the top, make sure you are on the network: Binance Smart Chain. Search for “Bonfire”. If it’s not there, tap “Add Custom Token” and paste in the contract address for your token.
In example, for Bonfire the contract address is: 0x5e90253fbae4dab78aa351f4e6fed08a64ab5590
Step 3: Buy Binance Smart Chain (BNB)
Buy BNB on Binance and withdraw it to your wallet, if you dont have it yet. You use this to buy the token and also for transaction fees on the blockchain.
Step 4: PancakeSwap
Navigate to PancakeSwap exchange and select the BONFIRE token. For newer coins, that are not in the menu yet you can paste the contract address of the token as well.
Step 5: Adjust slippage and swap
Click “Settings” at the top right and adjust the slippage. For Bonfire 12% works. It can be higher when there is more demand and thus more volatility.
Input the amount you want and buy your token!

Definetely need to look at zada.. I want my reflective token in something other than the native token.. Zada gives you cardano.. Cardano is going to 10$ by 2024 imho..With that being said The zada project is a portfolio builder with no developer wallet which shows me the devs are investing just like me.. great project zadauniverse.com
